Hope Blooms is a local nonprofit with a mission to bring joy to those in need by repurposing bouquets. My first project as a volunteer designer in 2019 was the design and painting of a mural for their volunteer shop. Since, I've designed graphics for their annual Giving Hearts Day campaigns, birthday celebration campaigns, various social media graphics, and updated print materials to showcase an evolving brand.
Shop Mural Design
In 2023, I designed and painted a new 50 ft. mural in their newly renovated space. I designed, planned, provided art direction, and painted the wall alongside generous volunteers. Additionally, I created elements for adjacent walls and digital assets with the bright, refreshed, and joyful look reflective of their volunteer space.
A color-by-number system allowed volunteers of any skill level to help with painting the mural without any guesswork. The mural not only serves as a beautiful backdrop, but also creates a memorable experience for volunteers to take photos with. Additionally, it introduced a brighter, expanded color palette for the Hope Blooms brand to utilize in campaigns.
