The Need: In 2022, after two years of virtual partner events during the COVID-19 pandemic, we aimed to create a fresh, energetic, lively design that would resonate with both in-person and virtual audiences. It was important for design to complement the recently updated WEX identity, launched at the event.

The Solution: As the lead event designer, I was responsible for setting the overall look and feel of the event, coordinating print and installation with vendors, and ensuring proper on-site setup. My design work encompassed the creation of elements including communications design, registration site design, social media graphics, site signage planning, and other branded materials.
The Result: A vibrant color palette that worked in both light and dark modes, whether digitally or in person. Utilization of simple shapes arranged in a grid system allowed for flexibility in its application. The use of simple shapes and colors facilitated smooth motion on the main stage without distracting from the strategic message.
